Kathryn Calhoun Dennis is a Southern socialite and reality television star.  She appeared on the Bravo network reality television show called Southern Charm .

Kathryn got into politics early , she was a Page for John Land in the South Carolina Senate and an intern in the Lieutenant Governor’s Office . Afterward , she decided to become a model , appearing on the cover of many fashion magazines including Azalea magazine . In 2014 She landed a spot on Bravo’s “Southern Charm”.

Kathryn is a brand ambassador for local Charleston department store Gwynn’s and is soon to be a creative partner at the newly launched Gwynn’s Studio . She is releasing a line of upscale children’s furniture called “Kenzie + Saint” inspired by the habits and personalities of her own children . In addition , she also has another business venture revamping vintage items to give them a unique and modern twist .

As of early 2020 , Kathryn has found herself in heaps of troubles . The reality star is accused of sending racist emojis to a black radio host , Mika Gadsen . Following the incident , She was fired from her position as a brand ambassador for Gwyn . She is in the midst of a lawsuit filed against her by Katherine Leonard , owner of KL Creative . According to Leonard , Katherin is refusing to pay for her services .

“I was brought on to help Ms. Dennis to rebrand herself and worked in good faith to achieve all the goals we set out for her . Once she gave me a deposit we began to work on the meeting said goals on a strict deadline . She accepted my services and I performed them perfectly . Two letters have been sent by a lawyer to her to no avail . I now have no choice but to file here in order to get paid for the work I performed for her in Nov 2019 !”

As of writing this article , the case is yet to conclude . Kathryn has not released any official statements on the case .

In 2014 , Katherine was cast as a part of the reality TV series , Southern Charm . The series focused on the affluent families living in Charleston as they tried to balance their social and professional lives .

She is also the grand-daughter of former Senator Rembert Coney Dennis, who served for 50 years in the South Carolina legislature.

Dennis has two children with fellow “Southern Charm” co-star and South Carolina state treasurer , Thomas Ravenel. Their names are Saint and Kensie . A bitter custody battle ensued after their separation resulting in Thomas being given full custody of the children once their nanny alleged that Kathryn was doing party drugs and she tested positive for marijuana and cocaine.

She had been previously arrested and sentenced to Berkeley jail for excessive drinking and misconduct in 2012. After Ravenel was arrested for sexual assault in 2018 Kathryn filed for sole custody of her children. The case is ongoing. In January 2019, Dennis was reported to start a relationship with former America’s Got Talent contestant Hunter Price.
