Gio Insignares Career

Insignares began his career working as a reporter and anchor from the west coast to the nation’s capital. He then worked at Washington, D.C as a morning anchor and reporter, during that time and stories including the 2016 Election, raging wildfires, the memorials for former senator John Mccain and former president George H.W Bush, the racial justice protest and the coronavirus pandemic.

Back in May 2021, he joined the Local 10 News team working as an anchor and reporter. He is set to co-anchor the WSFL Morning Newscast as of Monday- Friday from 7-9 am, and also contribute to other WPLG newscasts Away from the screen you he is seen in movies as much as possible and trying the food across south Florida, he spends his time with his two dogs.
