Gordon began her passion for Journalism while back in high school, she memorized and recited the First Amendment since her freshman year of high school. Back in college she was an intern and as well worked for both the campus news station NewsWatch Ole Miss and a professional local station WTVA 9 News.

She as well served as a weekend multi-media reporter at WTVA 9 News in Tupelo. She as well had had the opportunity to work with Camp Hopewell as a social media intern for two summers.

She as well volunteered working as a production head for the Broadcast Educators Association Convention in Las Vegas for two years and the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar for one year. While free she enjoys hiking with her husband, daughter, and two dogs or watching a documentary.
