Howard began her acting roles as the teenage daughter Tammy Rokeby in the BBC comedy series So Haunt Me. She later featured as John Nettles’ daughter in Midsomer Murders for 12 years before leaving the show. She as well starred in the Jack Rosenthal drama Eskimo Day and its sequel Cold Enough For Snow.
She also earned other UK television credits such as Soldier Soldier, The Bill, Doctors, and Casualty.
