He served as a production floater during this time, and in June, he aired the Orleans tornado on his first solo shift at CTV News.
He previously served at The Weather Network in Oakville for more than a decade. While there, he traveled across North America, aired severe weather such as blizzards, forest fires, and tornadoes.
He started working at his farm, Vandermeer Farms, in Lyn, Ontario. Whileoff duty he is currently serving at the farm, organizing maintenance of farm property as well as barn facility, grass, and equipment.
He coordinates the transportation of machinery and harvest to and from the field and shop.
