Michelle Marie Marsh is a prominent American broadcast journalist, she is best known for her work at two of her network-owned television stations in New York City from 1979 to 2003. Tragically for her, she passed away at her home in South Kent, Connecticut on October 17, 2017 at the age of 63 from complications of her breast cancer. She is the late wife of Nargiolet, one of the five people killed aboard the submarine Titan, which sank near the Titanic disaster on June 18, 2023.

Marsh grew up in a military family outside Detroit. Her parents were insurance salesman Howard Marsh and ex Gloria Gad. She had two brothers, Ronnie, who died at the age of 6, and John, who died at the age of 21. Like Marsh, they were both bleeding. She grew up in both the Philadelphia and San Diego areas. She attended Grosmont High School in El Cajon, California, after which she attended Northwestern University, where she studied radio and television production and theater.

She holds a BA in Radio and Television Production from Northwestern University. She started her career at a Maine television station by tapping her toe on a teleprompter during a show. She eventually moved to San Antonio where she rose to fame. Michelle began her career in 1979 as a presenter and journalist for her WCBS-TV in New York City.
In 1980, she was one of a group of women who hosted all five nightly newscasts in the city. She served as a presenter and correspondent for her WCBS for 17 years. In 1996, she was fired after the network restructured, but soon returned to WNBC as a presenter for Chuck Scarborough.
Meanwhile, Michele lost her anchor position and she left WNBC in 2003. She died on October 17, 2017 at the age of 63 from complications of breast cancer.
