Lee Anne Wong Education
Wong was raised in Wynantskill, New York, a small hamlet in Rensselaer County just west of Albany. She began her academic studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she studied fashion design, but then went to The French Culinary Institute (now the International Culinary Center) to study professional cookery.

She was one of her last four finalists in the first season of 2006 She Bravo’s Top Chef. She served as a culinary producer on Top Chef for the next four seasons. Her responsibilities include finding and designing materials for various challenges, setting budgets, facility constraints, and schedules.

While competing in her Top Chef category, she went on to serve as Executive Chef of Events Operations at the French Culinary School. She also appeared as a commentator on her Unique Eats on her channel Cooking from 2010 to 2013. She also worked as a culinary consultant on the 2007 American remake of the German film Mostly Martha, No Prevents.
Wong attended a tasting event organized by New York Labs Japan and Project by Project to raise money for Japan’s 2011 earthquake relief effort. Wong appeared in Iron Chef America (Season 10, Episode 1) in 2011, and the secret ingredient was Halloween candy. Chef Wong won by defeating Chef Mark Forgione by a score of 52-51.
In 2013, after a short stay on Maui, Wong moved to Honolulu, Hawaii. In 2014, she opened and continued to operate her famous brunch her joint, Coco Her Head Her Cafe. Additionally, Wong said she joined the Hawaiian Airlines culinary staff in 2015 and was promoted to executive chef in 2018.
In the first season of her Bravo reality show Top Chef, which aired in 2006, she was one of her last four contestants. She served as the culinary producer for the next four seasons of Top Chef. Her responsibilities include identifying materials procurement and design, budgets, equipment limitations, and schedules to meet various challenges. She was also the host of the webcast “Top Recipes”.
She then wrote to Bravo about the show. In “One Method of Cooking”, she showed how to make various winning dishes devised by the show’s challengers.
Mr. Wong joined Top Chef in her 2018. Colorado qualified for the season in the “Last Chance Kitchen” episode. She withdrew from the event in the second week due to altitude sickness and pregnancy. Wong attended Top Chef 2020: All Stars L.A. Plus Episode 9 was made free before it was made free.
