Rashad al-Alimi is a Yemeni politician who has served as chairman of the Presidential Council since April 7, 2022. Rashad Al-Alimi Career
Rashad, a member of the National People’s Congress, served as Minister of Internal Affairs from April 4, 2001 to 2008, later became Chairman of the Security Council, and Minister of Supreme and Defense and Security in May 2008. In 2014, he was a member of the Yemen National Dialogue Conference and served as an advisor to President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
