She worked at CBS News 60 Minutes and also anchored France Europe 1’s morning news. In 1981, Christine became the first female anchor of Antenne 2’s 8pm news. She later worked as an evening correspondent for France 2 at TF1 and has been a correspondent for various news broadcasts of France 3 since 1990.
She is the editor-in-chief of Express. For more than a decade, she hosted the TV show France Europe, covering European affairs. A staunch supporter of European unity, he signed Soros’ petition demanding the government’s response to the euro crisis.
Okrent held the number two position at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs until he was dismissed in May 2011. He refused to resign, saying he had to endure “9 months of work that brought me fame and reputation.” He is a former member of St. Simons Foundation Think Tank.
