Max has been working at the German international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) since 2005. From August 1, 2014 to January 1, 2020, Hoffmann worked as Deutsche Welle’s European correspondent and Brussels bureau chief, covering the EU, NATO, the Benelux countries and France. President Macron gave his first interview to German television on May 9, 2018, in a French radio interview hosted by Caren Miosga of Tagesthemen.
