Steven Crowder Biography

Steven Blake Crowder is an American-Canadian conservative politician, actor, comedian and broadcast host. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Quebec, Canada. At the age of twelve, Steven won a popular role as the voice of the character “Brain” in the children’s series Arthur (1996). This role immediately launched him into the “kid magnet” world.

Claude attended Centennial Regional High School, and when he was 18, he returned to the United States to attend Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, for two semesters. He later started doing stand-up comedy. In addition, Crowder also appeared in many films such as “The Savior”, “Three Needles” and “The Secret”. He joined Fox News as a reporter in 2009. He was 21 at the time and one of “Fox News’ top commentators.” The channel is known as the only truly right-wing news network. Steven worked there until 2012.

In December 2012, Fox News aired footage of Crowder and members of Americans for Prosperity arguing at a rally in Michigan about the state’s impeachment bill. The incident raised many questions but was later resolved. However, Crowder’s relationship with Fox News ended in 2013, shortly after Crowder made negative comments about Fox News host Sean Hannity and Fox News.


Later, after leaving “Fox News,” he started his own “YouTube” channel, “Louder with Crowder.” He also promotes his political views and uploads critical videos on his YouTube channel. In October 2012, after a video parodying Barack Obama’s campaign went viral after being published in the American Observer magazine, Steven’s YouTube channel became more popular and he began uploading videos regularly. “Keeping Up with Crowder” was purchased by “Blaze Media” website Watch and turned into a daily program. The program is currently airing on CRTV.

In June 2019, YouTube investigated Crowder’s use of racist and homophobic slurs in several videos directed at Carlos Maza in response to Maza’s Vox series “Deleted.” Claude called Maza “Sir”. Claude criticized Maza in a mostly gay voice. Additionally, Mazza said Crowder’s fans were smearing and harassing him. However, Steven defended himself and said it was just a “joke”. The model on YouTube does not show disturbing videos. YouTube criticized many critics about this, which later led them to remove revenue from their videos, saying that their channel should address all their concerns first.

Steven’s channel began monetization again in 2020, but another controversy regarding violations of the YouTube President’s Privacy Policy led to the channel becoming monetized in March 2020. YouTube suspended the channel for two weeks in October 2022 for violating harassment, threats and cyberbullying. CrowderIn recently announced on Louder with Crowder that it had received an anonymous listing from the media. The unnamed newspaper is the Daily Telegraph. Daily Telegraph editor Jeremy Boring urged him to reject the terms of the contract, which would have paid Crowder $50 million over four years.
