He is well known foy having played for the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers, in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He also played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Rick was born to Dianne Gerace and Ulrich Fox. His mother was an Olympic high jumper and women’s pentathlete. His father a Bahamian and his mother is Canadian of Italian and Scottish descent. He was rasied up along with his brother to his one and sister Jeanene model and an actress and she currently based in the U.S. She started her career in modeling when she was only 15 years old.

His family relocated to his father’s native Bahamas when he was very young. He attended Kingsway Academy in Nassau. While in Nassau, he was a member of the “Saints”, the high school’s basketball team.
