Ricke started off her broadcasting career working with the nations back while she was high school radio station, 88.1 WNAS. She got to be selected to be the “voice of the bulldogs”… a play-by-play announcer for men’s basketball.
She started anchoring and reporting for the two Emmy award-winning programs, The Extra Point and also the News Channel 12. She interned for WAVE-3 Sports in Louisville, Westwood One Sports radio in NYC, and as well as served as elected senator for the Student Government Association, a member of the University Athletic Committee, and also served as an elected President of her sorority, Chi Omega.
After her graduationshe got to be accept at “grown-up” position as a production’s associate for NBC’s broadcast of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
