Dillon was a freshman at Boston College in 2017, participated in all 13 games, and set a record of 1,589 yards for high school freshmen through 300 transfers and 14 touchdowns. He was named ACC Newcomer of the Year.
Of the 13 matches against Temple on September 29, 2018, due to an ankle injury, only 10 were played. Although Dillon was restricted due to injury, he still scored 1,149 yards and 11 touchdowns.
