Benjamin Dube Career
After the passing of his dad in 1977, his family went on a tour in the Netherlands. And keeping in mind that on tour in the Netherlands, their mother imparted to them how their dad had been killed. This reality motivated them to record the album “Vader verge he then” – Dutch, signifying “Father forgive them”. From that point forward, in 1980 while at Daliwonga Secondary School, he established a singing group, “Share the Good News”. Then, Dube entered a SABC talent search competition and won the first prize and got a Stereo Cassette player and grocery hamper from OK Bazaar.
From that point forward, in 1986, he started the journey of his calling into service when he recorded the single, ‘HOLY SPIRIT’ as Benjamin and The Youth Choir. Then again, in 1988, he discharged another album “EBENEZER” featuring the late Lucky Dube with Gallo Records. However, after thirteen years he cut an arrangement with Harmony Records in New York USA under Epic record label.
Benjamin Dube Besides Music
He isn’t just an artist yet also an influential speaker. Dube has spoken in president Nelson Mandela’s “Freedom of the City” award presentation moreover. Additionally, in 2009 he established Artist Hope Arise (AHA) and furthermore co-founded God’s worshiper’s Convocation (GWC).
