When she was six months old, her family fled Colombia and settled in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame in Caguas with a grade point average of 4.0. She then attended the University of Puerto Rico and Piedras her campus where she graduated with honors with a BA in Advertising and Public Relations. After taking a year off to care for her terminally ill father, she enrolled in law school at the University of Puerto Rico, where she graduated in 2017 with her Juris Doctor degree.

Morales was named to represent Guaynabo at the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2015 pageant in 2015. During the competition, she won the TRESemmé Best Hair Award and placed 6th in the folk costume category. Morales was crowned champion on October 9, 2014 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. During her reign, she wrote her book about her father’s struggle with illness and her death from terminal lung cancer. She competed at Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada as Miss Universe Puerto Rico, but she missed out on the rankings. Her tenure as Miss Universe Puerto Rico ended the following year when she named Christie Caride as her successor.

Morales’ beauty career began in 2008 when she was named Puerto Rico’s representative in the Miss Italy Nel Mondo 2008 contest for diaspora Italian women. She didn’t win the competition. Three years later, Morales returned to the competition representing Grabo at Miss World Puerto Rico 2011, where she finished in the top 12.

Morales was announced in October 2020 as one of 43 women nominated for the 25th season of The Bachelor. She later became one of five women to join the show in the fourth episode, which aired on January 25, 2021. Morales was eliminated on the following program, which aired on February 1.
