Gonzalez began her radio career working as a show producer at WNWS in Miami, Florida. Then, Christina worked at KVVA Radio in Phoenix, Arizona, where she presented famous radio talk shows and anchored news updates. Back in the mid-1980s, she began her television broadcasting career as a general assignment reporter at KTVW in Phoenix, Arizona.
In the late 1980s, she as well hosted the 18:00 and 22:00 newscasts at Univision’s Los Angeles affiliate, KMEX.
