Claire Williams a British motorsport executive and the former deputy team principal of the Williams Formula One racing team. She though resigned back on 7th of September 2020 and she is as well known as the daughter to Frank Williams who was a British businessman, racing car driver, and the founder of the Williams Formula One team. His father was the team principal from its foundation back in 1977 to 2020 and died passed on on November 28, 2021, aged 79.

Williams started off her career working as a press officer for the Silverstone racing circuit. Back in 2002, she joined the Williams F1 team as a communications officer. Back in 2010, she served as the head of communications for the team, and 2011, she got promoted to serve as the director of marketing and communications for Williams.
After her father Frank Williams stepped down from the Williams board back in March 2012, she served as the Williams family representative on the board. In March 2013, she got appointed deputy team principal of the Williams F1 racing team with the responsibility for marketing, communications, and the commercial aspects of the team’s business.
She later got appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2016 Birthday Honours for services to Formula 1 racing. Back on September 3rd, 2020, she announced that she was resigning as deputy team principal of the Williams team on 7th of September 2020, after the 2020 Italian Grand Prix. She previously had motorhome, and earned the front wing of a Williams FW36 as a souvenir.
