Danielle Caroline Schneider an Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre actress, writer, and improv comedian from the United States. She co-created and acted in the Hulu reality TV parody series The Hotwives, and she presently co-hosts the podcast Bitch Sesh with Casey Wilson.

Schneider frequently participated as a panelist on VH1’s Best Week Ever and other talk shows. On Fox’s My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, Trio’s The Pop Culture Round-Up: White Noise, Comedy Central’s Contest Searchlight with Denis Leary, VH1’s prank program Sledgehammer, NBC’s Happy Family, and Comedy Central’s Crossballs, she made her debut as a debutante with Paris Hilton-like characteristics. Schneider has voiced characters on MTV’s Celebrity Deathmatch and PBS Kids GO!’s WordGirl in addition to appearing on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. She co-starred in the 2010 season of Players on Spike TV as Krista.

She has performed and taught at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (UCB) in New York and Los Angeles, where she was a part of Respecto Montalban, one of the UCB’s first improv comedy groups. She and her creative partner Dannah Phirman collaborated on the two-woman sketch performance Eye Candy, which was selected for HBO’s U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, in 2002. Since then, she has collaborated with Phirman on a number of sketch shows at the Los Angeles UCB, including Dead Heiresses and Let’s Get Awkward. Dead Heiresses was developed by Comedy Central as a pilot in 2007.

The screenplay for Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2 was written by Schneider and Phirman, and they are now working on the scripts for Catfight for New Line Cinema and Boys Are Stupid, Throw Rocks at Them for Universal. & Phirman wrote for the NBC comedies Marry Me and Telenovela in addition to producing and acting in the reality TV parody series The Hotwives on Hulu. On Marry Me, Schneider played Cassie, a recurrent character. In 2017, Schneider and Phirman worked together as writers and producers on the TruTV comedies I’m Sorry and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Schneider also contributed to Playing House, a comedy on the USA Network.

On December 2, 2015, Schneider and Casey Wilson released the Earwolf podcast Bitch Sesh, in which they and a guest have comedic talks about The Real Housewives episode from the night before as well as other Bravo-related subjects. Guests on the show have included June Diane Raphael, Andy Cohen, Adam Pally, Jerry O’Connell, Matt Besser, Vanessa Bayer, Michael Rapaport, Elisha Cuthbert, and Retta. The show was introduced and given a special preview episode by Paul Scheer on his podcast How Did This Get Made? He described it as a “sister podcast” to his show that concentrates on reality television rather than movies. Vulture, Entertainment Weekly, and The A.V. Club all picked Bitch Sesh as one of the top comedy podcasts of 2016.
