Dave Roever Biography
Dave Roever is a senior officer in the U.S. Navy Special Warfare Division from 1968 to 1971. He never thought of joining the Navy. He got a call when he was at the height of the Vietnam War. Because Dave didn’t want to join the army, he decided to join the army as a water gunner among the elite brown and black berets in Vietnam.
Eight months later, Dave was involved in an accident. He has a phosphorus bomb and is about to throw it. Unfortunately it explodes and burns beyond recognition. He had major surgery and was in the hospital for fourteen months. His survival and survival is nothing short of a miracle.
Rover attended Texas Bible College and was awarded an honorary doctorate in May 2005 for his achievements. He is also a preacher.
