Dr. Ronny Jackson an American physician and a resigned United States Navy rear admiral. He got to retired from the Navy on December 1, 2019. On December 9, 2019, he registered to via as a Republican for Congress in Texas’s 13th congressional district.

On March 28, 2018, President Donald Trump announced his intent to nominate Jackson to work as his secretary of veterans affairs. Later on April 26, 2018, Jackson removed his nomination amid allegations of professional misconduct. Jackson maintained that the accusations were “false and fabricated.
