Dr. Stella Immanuel ( Stella Gwandiku-Ambe) a Cameroonian-American physician, author, and pastor born in Bali, Cameroon. Immanuel is a Huston doctor. She went viral after advocating the use of the drug in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on July 27 as part of America’s Frontline Doctors Summit.
She has been a physician at the Rehoboth Medical Center since October 2019. Immanuel founded the ire Power Ministries in 2002. Her residency in pediatrics at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center was completed on July 28. In November 1998, she began working as a pediatrician in Alexandria, Louisiana.

On July 27, 2020, she appeared in a Tea Pary Patriots-backed press by a group called “America’s Frontline Doctors” in front of the Step of the U.S. Supreme Court. Immanuel claimed that she had cured COVID-19 in 350 patients at her clinic using a combination of hydroxychloroquine, Zithromax, and zinc. She also claimed that public health measures such as the wearing of facial covering and social distancing were unnecessary.
The video was viewed millions of times before it was removed from Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube because it broke their rules on misinformation. After the video was removed, she went ahead and said that ‘Hello Facebook put back my profile page and videos up or your computers with start crashing till you do. If my Page is not back up Facebook will be down in Jesus’ name.’
President Trump said at a press conference on July 28: “I thought she was very impressive, in the sense that, from where she came — I don’t know what country she comes from — but she said that she’s had tremendous success with hundreds of different patients. I thought her voice was an important voice, but I know nothing about her”.
