Gia Abrassart Biography
Gia Abrassart is a journalist and activist in Belgium. Abrasaat started his career in the hospitality industry before working at the ICRC. He later returned to university to study journalism at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
Abrassart was one of the founders of the Warrior Poets Collective in 2012. In 2015 he co-authored the book Créer en postcolonie 2010-2015. Sarah Demart is co-author of Voices and Discontents in the Belgian Congo.
In the same year, she also launched a lemon-ginger drink called Ginger G. In 2018, Gia founded Congo Café as a cultural hub at Studio CityGate in Anderlecht.
