Gina is an Emmy-nominated reporter and award-winning journalist who began her career in news in Monroe, Louisiana, where she anchored the Saturday evening news. Gina relocated to Austin, Texas, after three years in north Louisiana, where she spent two years anchoring the news and covering central Texas. Gina thrilled at the chance to return to New Orleans, knowing that there is no place like home. In January 2008, she was offered a reporter position at WDSU, and she has liked coming home ever since.
