Guillermo Maldonado is a Honduran-American pastor, television preacher, and Christian author, co-founder and author of El Rey Jesus, a non-denominational Christian megachurch and senior pastor in Miami, Florida.

He is also the founder of Jesus the King Ministries International, a rapidly growing church in the United States. During his more than 20 years of service, Guillermo is the spiritual father of 500 churches in 70 cities in a worldwide supernatural network of more than 750,000 people.

He is the founder of the University of the Supernatural Ministry (USM). He holds a PhD in Christian Counseling and an MA in Applied Theology.

Maldonado is the founder and senior pastor of El Rey Jesus Church in Miami, Florida, USA. He joined the church in 1996 with his wife, Ana Maldonado. El Rey started with 12 members in Maldonado’s room and now sees 15,000 to 20,000 people a week. It includes satellite locations in Georgia and New York, as well as multiple campuses in Florida. The church opened the Casa Hogar Orphanage in Honduras in 2010. Guillermo is the host of the “Supernatural Now” news show on TBN, Daystar, and Church Channel.

Maldonado taught that Christians should use God’s power to show that God is just as powerful in the world today as he was in the early church. He believes it is impossible for us to truly know God and enjoy the benefits of His healing, finances, and salvation in our lives unless we have access to God’s supernatural power.

The Teachings are also concerned with the building of what he calls the Kingdom of God. He said that the Kingdom of God is a web of ideas, ways of life, principles, rules, and foundations that govern not only the region but the entire universe.
