On December 26, 1997, Hannah has her first professional fight. She beat Heidi Tide by a decision in four, in Las Vegas. Her second fight was on January 23, 1998, where she got her first knockout win, finishing her fight with Teara Anne Sanders in the first round.
Hannah later won her next seven fights in a row, with two knockouts. She suffered her first, and only, career loss, on January 15, 1999, after she was outpointed by Fredia Gibbs over eight rounds in Las Vegas. After her loss to Gibbs, this became a rematch with Durta. She however made it and defeated her by a six-round decision.
Hannah later fought with Glenda Watkins where she also defeated her in a six-round decision. She became the IFBA’s number one ranked challenger for the IFBA’s world Jr. welterweight title. On June 11, 1999, at Bossier City, Louisiana, she challenged Leah Mellinger for Mellinger’s world Jr. She became the IFBA’s world Jr. Welterweight champion by defeating Mellinger by a ten-round decision.
Hannah won her fifth straight on March 28, 1998 in a Forum Boxing card at the Tropicana, with a TKO of Sarah Schmedding (143½ lbs) at 1:38 in the third round. Referee Carlos Padilla stopped the contest with Fox (143 lbs) pummeling the bloody-nosed Schmedding with powerful combinations. On June 26, 1998 at Bally’s Casino, she took another unanimous four-round decision over her crosstown rival Heidi Tibe (144 lbs). On March 6, 2000, she announced her retirement from boxing competition. She sais in a press release that:
“I set a goal to become a World Champion and achieved that goal. In the next chapter of my life, my husband, son and our two Subway franchises will be my primary concern. I have been hosting a Women’s Boxing television show in Las Vegas and hope to pursue color commentary positions in televised boxing events in the future”
Hannah later retired leaving a record of 12 wins, 1 loss, and 3 knockout wins.
