Speaking of her career, Grogan was already interested in theater and acting and music, before she became a meteorologist. She sang and danced in musicals all over the globe. Some highlights include Starlight Express in Germany (yes the one on roller skates! ), The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Beehive, and Smokey Joe’s Cafe. She also sang on a fancy world cruise where she got to see Antarctica, Easter Island, Papua New Guinea, and everywhere in between.
After her graduation from the university, she began by anchoring a parody television series named Onion News Network which was officially released on January 21, 2011, starring J.J. Adler, Will Graham, and Jon Watts. From there Grogan migrated to weather and made it to The Weather Channel, where she had the great fortune of working alongside some of the best meteorological minds in the world.
Grogan has worked as a chief meteorologist with WTNH-TV, ABC 8 in New Haven, CT, New England, but left the job after working for 7 months. She has also worked for WCBS-TV in New York and KYW-TV in Philadelphia, and as an anchor and reporter for KLAS-TV, CBS 8 and for KVWU-TV Fox 5 before working with The Weather Channel where, she currently works.
