Malachi Kirby is an English actor and writer, known for his roles in Roots and the Black Mirror series Down Under. He also won a BAFTA for his performance in Small Axe: Mangrove (2020). He grew up on the Patmore Estate in Battersea and went to Southfield College. He became interested in literature and discovered acting in a class at Battersea Arts Center in grade 9.
