Michael Strahan an American media personality and former American football defensive end known regular on GMA as well as one of FOX’s studio analysts.

On October 1, 2010, Strahan co-hosted Live with Regis and Kelly Regis Philbin was absent for that show. Furthermore, Philbin left in November 2011, hence leaving a vacant spot. Therefore, on September 4, 2012, Strahan was chosen as Kelly Ripa’s new co-host, noting his first official day on the rechristened syndicated television show.

Most importantly, ABC announced that Strahan would be leaving Live on April 19, 2016, to begin working full-time on Good Morning America. In addition to this, he was named a winner of Daytime Emmy twice for “Outstanding Talk Show Host” during his tenure with the show.

Michael Strahan Education

At the age of 9, his family relocated to an army post – BFV (Benjamin Franklin Village) – in Mannheim, West Germany. Michael attended Mannheim American High School, a US Department of Defense Dependent High School, in Käfertal (Mannheim), Germany.

While there in 1985, he played for the Mannheim Redskins as a linebacker.
During summer, Michael’s father sent him to live in Houston with his uncle Art who was also a former NFL defensive lineman so he could attend Westbury High School.

As a result, he played one season of football and got a scholarship offer from Texas Southern University. He then flew back to Germany for the spring term, where he graduated from Mannheim Christian. Furthermore, he is also a graduate of Texas Southern University.

However, they also divorced in the year 2006. As a result of a divorce settlement in 2007, Judge James B. Convery awarded Muggli $15 million as well as an addition of $18,000 monthly child support.

Therefore, he informed Giants co-owner John Mara that he would be walking away from a $4 million contract for the 2008 season four months after a stunning Super Bowl victory.
