Bogowith began her career at KOMU-TV in January 2007 where Bogowith worked as a fill-in weathercaster. Then Bogowith moved in the ranks to serve as the Evening Meteorologist in Columbia, Missouri. While still at KOMU-TV, Michelle was recognized by the Missouri Broadcasters Association, where she won the best Weathercaster in 2010 and 2012. Additionally to several reporting awards, including an Edward R. Murrow and also the National SPJ Sigma Delta Chi award, due to her hard work and the efforts in Joplin, Missouri following the May 22nd tornado.

Bogowith joined Fox 4 News in September 2012 where she served as the Mid Morning and Noon Meteorologist. She also earned herself a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist Seal(#639) in March 2014 from the American Meteorological Society. She appears on the screen at 4 am and 9 am Monday through Friday, in addition to filling in for Mike, Joe, and Karli.
