Mike Seidel is an American meteorologist for The Weather Channel. He has been working for the channel since 1992.

Seidel started working at WMDT-TV in 1980 and worked there until 1982. He then joined WYFF-TV in Greenville, South Carolina in 1983 and worked at the station until 1989. He later got back to Salisbury in 1989 to work as the meteorologist for WBOC-TV. Seidel left the station in 1992.

While in high school and college years, he worked for four local radio stations. He later graduated from Salisbury State College with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in mathematics and geography in 1979. He then joined and later graduated from Pennsylvania State University and earned his Master’s degree in Meteorology.
