Saul quit the borderland to seek a career as a journalist, taking the yellow-lined I-10 lanes to Los Angeles, where I attended the University of Southern California.

He was employed in cities such as Laredo, Texas, Tucson, Arizona, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and, most recently, Orlando, Florida, to hone his craft. His heartstrings binding me to El Paso kept pulling, and almost forty years later, Saul returned home, taking with him all the wisdom and insight he learned from some of the country’s finest journalists. He is excited to be a part of the ABC 7 team, where he will be able to offer you the quality journalism that El Paso residents deserve.
