Jafargholi had a recurring role as Troy in the children’s TV series Grandpa in My Bag in 2009. Additionally, Shaheen played Danny in the Torchwood episode “Greeks Bearing Gifts”. She also played Christy Skinner in the medical drama Casualty. He also appeared on stage as a young Michael Jackson in Thriller – Live.
Also, his minor credits include the UK tour of Macbeth, The King and I and Technicolor Dreamcoat of Joseph and Wonder. Additionally, Jafar Goli also played the role of a genie in the TV series “Aladdin”. Additionally, the actor appeared in the short films All Is Mine, A Way of Life and Days at the Beach without a cast. He has also appeared on television programs such as the Frank Skinner Show, Nickelodeon UK and ITV News Wales. He also worked on commercials for Delta Air Lines, Debenhams and DFS. However, the Walkers Crisps advert, which was planned to feature former footballer Gary Lineker, has been cancelled.
Britain’s Got Talent
The actor appeared in Series 3, Episode 2 of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009. Jafargholi’s first commercial demo was Amy Winehouse’s cover of the Zutons’ song “Valerie”. However, Simon Cowell finished the song and asked her to sing one more song. Shaheen performed Smokey Robinson’s “Who’s Lovin’ You” and earned a solid award with a standing ovation from the audience and judges.
He also signed up to present for an hour on local radio station Bay Radio because he was participating in a talent show. She also chose “And I Tell You I’m Going” from the musical “Dreamgirls” in the semi-final. He also finished sixth.
He sang the song “I’ll Be With You” in memory of Michael Jackson at the 2009 MOBO Awards in September. Also a month later, Jafar Goli appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show’s “Who Loves You?” He flew to Chicago to record his performance. Additionally, Shaheen later performed “Lean On Me” and “Who’s Lovin’ You” at the BBC Children in Need Gala and BBC Change Live in Cardiff. She also performed “I’ll Be There” on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
He also sang “Welcome to Wales” at the Ryder Cup’s “Welcome to Wales” concert and “The Jackson 5’s “I” at Britain’s Got Talent Tour Want You Back. Shaheen announced details of her debut album and single in September 2010.
Jafargholi starred in the New Victoria Theater pantomime ‘Ah Plus’ in 2014, and was cast in the BBC soap opera EastEnders in May 2016 with Shakil Kazemi He joined the cast of Casualty as nurse Marty Kirkby.
