Aboard the missing submarine, Shazada Dawood and her five crew members, including her son, are now at risk of hypothermia due to lack of oxygen. David Gallo, a veteran oceanographer and senior adviser to the Titanic, expressed concern about declining oxygen levels and battling the cold. According to recent images, the 21-foot-long submarine will be towed by her mothership, MV Polar Prince, from the Canadian port of St. John’s to the Titanic wreck. The Shazada family has been in business for centuries and traces its origins back to his late grandfather Seth Ahmed Dawood. Seth Ahmed Dawood is a Pakistani philanthropist and businessman who founded the Dawood Foundation (TDF). In 2003, he joined the board of directors of Engro Corporation, one of Pakistan’s largest companies. He assumed the position of vice chairman and, due to his outstanding skills, has been a key factor in the organization’s growth and success.

He is a board member of the Bottle Engro Foundation and the Dawood Foundation and recognizes the value of corporate social responsibility. These foundations strive to strengthen communities and build long-term value chains aligned with business goals.

Shazada Dawood’s influence extends beyond Pakistan’s borders. As a member of the Global Advisory Board of Prince’s Trust International, the charity of Prince Charles, she actively promotes entrepreneurship and youth development worldwide.

His experience and leadership skills have led him to join the SETI Institute Board of Directors in December 2020. This outstanding appointment demonstrates his dedication to academic inquiry and research. Shahzada Dawood’s expertise in corporate governance and industry development is demonstrated through leadership responsibilities in several companies. He serves on the boards of companies such as Dawood Corporation (Pvt) Ltd, Dawood Hercules Corporation Ltd and Patek (Pvt) Ltd. These positions allow him to apply his knowledge and experience in different areas.
