Tim Ryan Career

After graduating, he worked at KSRO Radio Santa Rosa and WCCO News/Talk CBS station in Minneapolis. He began working here in 1982 and went on until 2000. After this, he worked with CBS Radio out of NY. In 2005 he left CBS and joined KCBS in the Bay Area. Through this, he has reported from five continents and covered topics ranging from wars to minor conflicts, political campaigns, and natural calamities among others.

Tim Ryan even reported live, the strike of the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989 from Candlestick Park. He did this coverage on a borrowed bicycle. In addition to this, he worked with the CA National Guard for 11 days after the effects of Hurricane Katrina to the Gulf Coast in 2005.

Since the start of Fox’s Good Day, he has been co-anchoring it. Every morning, he wakes up early to go to his every weekday four and a half hours of non-stop news and fun. One of the program’s (Good Day) features is “Tell it to Him” that occurs on Friday mornings. The show is regarded as irreverent and sometimes close to out-of-bounds.
