Radel began his career as a journalist, working as a journalist and broadcaster. He works at CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta. Radel went on to work for CBS affiliates such as KHOU in Houston, WBBM in Chicago and WINK-TV in Fort Myers, Florida. Rudel purchased the Naples Daily News, a community newspaper, in 2005 and later sold it to E.W. Scripps Co. owns the Naples Daily News. After selling The Wall Street Journal, Rudd returned to WINK in 2007 and left in 2009 to host WFSX-FM’s four a.m. radio show. Rudder will return to the station in September 2016 for the morning broadcasts. A year later, afternoon driving hours were introduced, which are still in use today.
