Trisha Goddard Biography
Trisha Goddard (Patricia Gloria Goddard) a British television presenter, actress known for her morning talk show Trisha that run from(1998–2010), that was broadcast on a mid-morning slot on ITV before later being moved to Channel 5. She has served in the U.S. as of 2010 when she began working on Maury as a conflict resolution expert. She as well hosted a U.S. version of her own talk show, named The Trisha Goddard Show, as of 2012 to when it was cancelled in 2014.

Goddard started off her early career working as an air stewardess led to travel and writing for magazines. She settled in Australia back in the mid-1980s, a new career in television. She served there as a television presenter, most notably on ABC’s The 7.30 Report, and as well host children’s program Play School. She then served as the chairperson of the Australian Government’s National Community Advisory Group on Mental Health.
Back in 1998, after getting back to the United Kingdom, she served as the host of an ITV flagship daytime chat show, the BAFTA-winning Trisha, produced by Anglia Television. She later launched her own independent television production company based in House TV, with former Director of Programmes and Production for ITV Anglia, Malcolm Allsop.
Back in September 2004, she left ITV and join Five in a new programme named Trisha Goddard, that made its TV debut back on 24th of January 2005. The show based on relationships, families in crisis, and reunionand got produced by Town House Productions. Back 2020, she featured in the twelfth series of Dancing on Ice alobgside with Łukasz Różycki and got to be the first couple voted off after the judges chose to save ITV News presenter Lucrezia Millarini and her skating partner Brendyn Hatfield. In 2021, she featured on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories and will as well serve as a presenter on talkTV in 2022.

Goddard enrolled at an independent school for expatriates in Tanzania, and later relocated to Englandfor her primary school in Heacham, Norfolk. She later joined Sir William Perkins’s School in Chertsey, Surrey, that was a voluntary controlled Church of England girls’ grammar school at the time.

Goddard was first marriaed was to Robert Nestdale, an Australian politician and erstwhile director of Unicef Australia. The duo first met in 1985 whilst working as an air stewardess. Nestdale was later rumoured to be gay and died from AIDS backin 1989. She has shared that Nestdale was abusive to her during their relationship.
She then her second husband named Mark Grieve, a television producer back in 1987 and later got married in 1993. They pair shared two children together and later separated in 1996. She then married Peter Gianfrancesco, a mental health service professiona back in 1998, with her children taking their stepfather’s surname. The duo later divorced in 2017.
She is also known to be a survivor of breast cancer, having been diagnosed in 2008. She lives in Connecticut, USA.

Goddard was born to Mary Agnes Fortune, a Windrush nurse from Dominica, and an unknown father. She never knew the white man who raised her up was not her biological father until after her mother’s death, but he was the biological father of her three sisters. She was raised up along with her three younger sisters, named Juliette, Paula, and Linda. Her youngest sister, Linda, suffured from schizophrenia and later died in 1988 from complications arising from self-inflicted injuries.
