Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is a popular American actor best known for playing Anthony McCoy in the 2021 film Candyman. Ya-Ya is also known for playing David Kane/Black Manta in the DC Extended Universe superhero movie Aquaman (2018).

Abdul-Mateen made his acting debut in 2016 in the musical drama series The Get Down, directed by Baz Luhrmann, which aired on Netflix. He plays Clarence “Cadillac” Caldwell, the king of disco.
